What the calculator does

The calculator estimates the cost of a deck from numbers you enter. It does not pull in market prices, agency rate cards, or any external data. Every figure in your result comes from your own inputs.

How the estimate is calculated

The estimated total deck cost is the sum of your direct cost line items, plus your revision cost, plus your internal time cost:

• Total deck cost = design + strategy and narrative + copywriting + research and analysis + (revision rounds times cost per round) + (internal hours times internal hourly value)
• Cost per slide = total deck cost divided by your slide count
• Internal time cost = internal hours times internal hourly value
• Revision cost = revision rounds times cost per round

Likely bottleneck and recommended workflow

The likely bottleneck is taken from the bottleneck you select, or inferred from your largest cost category when you are not sure. The recommended workflow maps your urgency, your bottleneck, or your largest cost category to one type of AI-assisted deck workflow that may help reduce manual work, for example an investor deck draft, a deck review checklist, deck design polish, a board deck workflow, a sales deck workflow, or a research-to-deck workflow.
